Apologies for the lack of posts recently. I've been focused on my other work at the moment (which you can check out here) & I've never been one to post photos just for the sake of creating a post.

These are a few shots from a couple of months ago, when it was still quite cold and my friend April accompanied me on a little photo walk around Abbotsford Convent.

Back in January I had the pleasure of joining the wonderful O'lovely girls, Laura & Shakira for a photo shoot, here in Melbourne. The theme was 'runaways', so we spent the afternoon shooting at a local train station & getting up to general hijinks.

O'lovely have just arrived back from recording new material in New Zealand... so keep an eye out at the links below for new music.

One for the weekend

Oh, it's the weekend!

While late autumn is settling in with cool temperatures here in Melbourne, I can see & read about all my northern hemisphere friends welcoming in the days of spring... I'm trying not be be jealous & embrace jackets & tights. I've been enjoying the last couple of warm days in Melbourne at friend's birthday picnics in the park & slowly loading higher & higher ISO film into my cameras.

Tomorrow is World Pinhole Day... so this weekend I'm going out to shoot my very first pinhole photographs with my Diana F+ (in pinhole mode of course!). I'm throwing up between using black & white film, 400 or 100 colour negative... hmmm.

Are you shooting pinhole this weekend? What are your plans for the weekend?

Last Friday & Saturday I had an exciting opportunity to help out the on the lovely Lomography Australia/NZ Finders Keepers Market stall... fun times! I spent pretty much the entirety of Friday night & Saturday talking about cameras & film.... I ended up a little voice-hoarse, but very happy to share the Lomography love in Melbourne.

Did you go to the Melbourne Finders Keepers Market? What did you find & keep?

Long time no photo!

I know, it's been a long time between photos... I just wanted to reassure my lovely readers that I am in fact still alive, although for the last few weeks I have been buried under a pile of work and university work that I have only just been able to free myself from.

Sadly this also meant that I had to rest my shutter finger a little... somehow I still managed to shoot through a few films (but hardly enough). Luckily for me my holiday to New York City is only 3 short weeks away and many many many a film will be sacrificed in celebration.

Speaking of my NYC trip... if anyone has any tips for photo opportunities or places I should visit, then please let me know. I am also taking a day trip to Washington DC... photos of monuments ahoy!

I also have a new camera that I will be reviewing soon... until then I thought I'd share some of my favorite Lomowalls from over the past few weeks... you can click each one to see a larger version.

My excellent and amazing friends Gus & Lene were in town from Brisbane...
much fun was had. (LC-A with Lomography 100 film)
